The Capitol Hill Neighborhoods and the Golden Triangle

Adjacent to Downtown, on south side. Large amount of residential tower construction, along with many different types of housing and apartments. "The Golden Triangle" refers to an area bordered by Speer, Colfax, and Lincoln streets. The Capitol Hill is named as it is because of the proximity of the State Capitol Building, shown in the header of the "History" Page.

Capitol Hill / Golden Triangle page 2

Yet another apartment building in the Golden Triangle.

This residential tower was developed by the same company that developed the Prado tower shown on the first page and the next image. (BCN Development).

BCN Development is currently constructing a pair of twin residential towers in the same neoclassical architecture that is characteristic of most of its buildings.

The Prado tower yet again. (Left side).

This is a shot of the Denver Public Library, located in the area.

Across the street to the left, (blocked in this image), is a large amount of construction. The Golden Triangle is undeniably experiencing a conversion back to it's glory days. This time it will have high rises rather than upscale Victorian homes.

A closeup of an interesting stone house in the Capitol Hill neigborhoods.

Here is a commercial drag in the capitol hill neighborhood.

Here is one method of reoccupying old households- convert them into stores.

They were closed when this photo was taken- a holiday.
